warm, friendly, and fun

I’m Trina Wilcox — a voiceover artist, podcast host, and community-engaged creative who believes the best voice work sounds human, intentional, and real.

My voice is warm, friendly, and fun, with a natural raspy tone that adds personality and authenticity to a wide range of projects. I work comfortably across young female to adult female reads, and I also perform kid-style and character-driven voices when a script calls for something playful or expressive.

I speak natural Midwest U.S. English and adapt easily to direction, pacing, and tone — whether a project needs conversational realism, confident authority, or emotional nuance.

My professional background includes radio, podcasting, and audiobooks, which shapes how I approach every script: with rhythm, clarity, and an understanding of how audiences connect through sound.

Beyond the mic, I’m deeply committed to community and advocacy. I’m a guest host on the Arthritis Foundation’s Live Yes! With Arthritis podcast, where I help amplify voices, stories, and conversations around life with chronic illness and resilience. I also volunteer with the Ozarks Literacy Council and serve as an Organizer for 1 Million Cups Springfield, supporting entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders.

I record from a professional home studio and pride myself on being reliable, easy to work with, and responsive to feedback. My goal is always the same — to deliver voice work that feels natural, polished, and memorable.

I am professionally trained with Nancy Wolfson at Braintracks Audio.

The Run Radio Podcast

I’m the host of The Run Radio Podcast, where I interview creative, resilient, and innovative voices about what it means to “run things” — literally and metaphorically.

The show blends thoughtful conversation, storytelling, and real-world insight, reflecting my belief that audio should feel personal, intentional, and engaging.
